Oro starts with 100% Arabica beans grown in India before being shipped directly to Northern California where the beans are roasted in small batches. Selection 795 is a hybrid of Arabica (including Typica from Yeman and unknown native Indian varietal) that was introduced in India in the 1940s. The Balehonnur Coffee Research Station in India chose it. It is well-liked in many parts of Southeast Asia. Selection795 is well-known for its bold beans, which produce a variety of flavors ranging from spicy to chocolaty. It produces a lot of fruit and is considered an exotic variety.
This coffee has been roasted lightly to develop and highlight the distinct notes of the varietal and the terroir. The crisp and clean flavor of our Oro light roast coffee is perfect for your morning cup of coffee or any time of the day.
