LIGHT ROAST – Limited Availability
The world most expensive coffee variety for affordable price.
Gesha, sometimes referred to as Geisha, is a variety of coffee believed to have originated in Ethiopia. In 2019 a lot of Panamanian Geisha coffee, produced by “The Lamastus Family Estates” sold for $1029/pound (unroasted) in the Best of Panama auction. Referred to later as “Elida Natural Geisha 1029,” it has been sold in coffee shops all around the world for prices topping over $100 a cup.
On our farm we are growing the same clone of this Gesha variety as the best farmers in Panama with the terroire distinction of our farm. Our first harvest is only 120lb, but in the future we hope to increase production.
